Personnel Security System Modernization

Role: Subcontract2024–present
  • Architected and prototyped the migration of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and 60+ related microservices to a secure government cloud with containerized deployment.
  • Delivered new capabilities supporting Trusted Workforce 2.0, the government-wide reform of personnel vetting and background investigations.
  • Built and maintained integrations between DISS and partner agencies, including DoD components, the military services, DHS, DOJ, Treasury, SSA, and DOE.
  • Introduced AI-assisted workflows to streamline internal engineering processes.
  • Accelerated releases from a multi-week cycle to a two-week cadence through automated CI/CD, getting fixes and improvements to users faster.
  • Supported a system used by thousands of users and holding records on millions of individuals.

Mission Mobile Application Modernization

Role: Subcontract2026–present
  • Extending a CBP enterprise mission program to native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
  • Designing a secure mobile architecture that connects field users to existing backend services and APIs.
  • Building to federal mobile security requirements: strong authentication, encryption in transit and at rest, and managed-device deployment, with automated testing and CI/CD for both platforms.
